“There are no aliens, no alien abductions and no alien cattle mutilations”, said William “Bill” Cooper, author of BEHOLD A PALE HORSE

“There are no aliens, no alien abductions and no alien cattle mutilations”, said the late William “Bill” Cooper, author of BEHOLD A PALE HORSE in this important 1999 interview which was held only 2 years before he was killed in shootout in Arizona:

Just around the time when his book BEHOLD A PALE HORSE became popular, Bill Cooper had already departed from “ufology” and was also beginning to hypothesize that “UFOs” had nothing to do with “aliens” but was a manipulation of the government to bring about fear to create a one-world government.

Cooper began to admit that he most likely had been shown disinformation by the government while he was in military service.
On this point, I truly commended Cooper for his admission.

Cooper began to state that he was no longer a “ufologist”.
It was Cooper who coined the term “ufoology” and I also commended him for it.

I basically agree with Bill Cooper on many of the things he said about UFOs and Aliens.

There is no evidence whatsoever  (so far)  that there are sentient, physical extraterrestrial biological entities commonly known as Aliens.

UFOs do not represent any conclusive evidence whatsoever of physical ET visitations.

The above all refer to physical reality as we know it.

(However, some say that there could be more to reality than just purely physical reality in this mysterious universe……I couldn’t agree more.  This falls in the realm of religious or spiritual beliefs of each person.  I do not discount the religious concept of the existence of paraphysical entities, both benevolent or malevolent in nature.  Some claim that malevolent, fallen paraphysical entities, also rather uncomfortably described as “demonic“, could be materializing and de-materializing at will, posing as physical aliens to pre-selected observers and could be deceiving many.)

P.S.

Bill Cooper was also a troubled individual, deep inside.
There was a dark side to his complex personality – – he was extremely short-tempered and had a problem with alcoholism.
When he first started giving lectures at UFO meetings and conferences (beginning in 1989), he insisted that one day he had witnessed a sub-merged disc-shaped object rising out of the sea while on a Navy ship during the time he was in military service.
This claim has never been collaborated by any other witness except himself.
But he had already included this story in the book.
I am not saying that he did not see the disc-shaped object.
He could have seen it.
The bottom line is that by the time he wrote his book, he had long come to the conclusion that all UFOs are man-made objects created by the government.

However, I disagree with his views that  all  UFOs are man-made objects.

I also do not agree with Bill Cooper that the government has built man-made UFOs in places like Groom Lake/Area 51

  1. LOL Norio, the “UFO Believers” will be after your head. My condolences 😉

Nope. With all due respect to Cooper, he has most of his claims wrong. He’s too conspiratorial. He gives way to much credit to “secret terrestrial technology”, hidden from the public by the major powers.

Military secrets are the most fleeting of all. Am I to believe, America for example, has enormous hardware flying around the globe which defies gravity? Should I accept the idea that this kind of technology has been hidden from the public for 50, 60, 70 years without any evidence or whistle blowers??

He is also stuck on this UFO/ET idea, a simplistic, two dimensional, human concept. There are books by two authors I recommend folks to read. Allen Hynek and Jacques Vallee.

The phenomenon is real. I can attest to that. This thing, in my case, was tremendous in size, larger than an aircraft carrier. I know my high technology. No power on earth has this kind of structure. That’s one thing I’ve learned after 30 plus years.

One has to ask themselves, if it was some kind of experimental technology, why test it over a large city, at night, in the middle of winter (-30 C), with it’s bright lights visible to hundreds of witnesses? It was like this thing was showing off, wanting to be seen. Do I have proof? Nope. The only proof I have is my eyes and my science brain.

After 30 some years, I only have come to two conclusions. First, it was not a secret, terrestrial aircraft and second, it was not from our reality. What reality? I don’t know. I’m not smart enough to figure that out, which has frustrated me for decades. I’m no closer to an answer now or then.

My greatest fear is meeting the grim reaper before I have any answers to this damn curse.

    • I agree with your assessment that some in the UFO community essentially give too much credit to humankind for having developed -and hidden- arcane technologies representative of massive seemingly fixed/solid craft seen all over. While the notion is intrtiguing, I think there’s too many questions and a shortage of answers, despite what Dr. Steven Greers confidently asserts about long suppressed advances in propulsion, elecro-magnetic science and the like.

      • Agreed.

As for Greer the Guru. I lost all respect for him years ago. I was getting excited about his upcoming doc at the time. I thought finally we’re getting a good unbiased doc about the phenomenon.

Then when I was watching, he brought out this “six inch alien” I fell off the chair. What a disappointment. Than that silly seance in the desert trying to contact our “space brothers”? Wow! What a fraud. Just another UFO Guru making a buck from the desperate “UFO Believers”.

        Sheesh

  2. I was at the MUFON UFO Congress in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July of 1989. I had the luck to meet briefly Bill Cooper and his pretty wife at the Aladdin Hotel, where the Symposium took place.
I came mainly to attend the “sub-Congress” lead by John Lear, and, therefore I was able to listen to the speech of William Cooper. He pretended that a frame of the Zapruder film proved that President Kennedy was killed by none other than his own driver, who -and it is a fact – turned his head toward John Kennedy [an obviously normal move] and – an there is the itch – killed the President with a hand gun!… An outrageous lie, and absurdity.
I knew a little bit about the JFK Assassination [I was 21 at the time, and the death of John Kennedy hurt me deeply. I never belied LHO was the lone assassin. I told my friends, on that sad moment, that the President had been killed by his own Intelligence Agencies, especially the CIA].,, So I lost any confidence for the late W. Cooper

      • Thank you, Norio, for your answer to my comment.
My belief in ‘nuts and bolts’ UFOs originates in the case of Valensole [a village dedicated to the cultivation of lavender, located in Southern Alps, in France] July 1st, 1965 – amid other cases in France and in other countries.
I had own contacts about the Valensole case [a CEiv in the Hynek-Vallee classification].
I hope our difference of opinions will not impede our friendship.

    • Cooper was the beneficiary of an accidental intelligence leak about Operation Majority (an actual plan like Operation Northwoods that was not entirely implemented). He then became erratic and paranoid due to his religious programming and tampering by secret agents tasked with discrediting him. There actually is a bureau which specializes in discrediting or destabilizing influential witnesses, but that is another story. If you were programmed in childhood to believe this planet is the center of the universe, and homo sapiens is the crowning glory of all creation, then the presence of a more intelligent species can be unsettling. This psychological weakness was exploited to make Cooper contradict himself (which is how you discredit intelligence leaks.) So there ARE aliens, there ARE abductions, and there ARE cattle mutilations, but there are also counterfeits done by the secret government for parallel research programs. This is actually far more complicated than people would like it to be — including the JFK deal. Nothing is what it appears to be on the surface, and the original untampered Zapruder film has never been seen by the public.

Cooper said many contradictory things just like Oswald (another mind control victim). But the thing which turned him into a ‘conspiracy nut’ was not a hoax or a trick. The problem is that Bill tried to square other conspiracies with Operation Majority, but he could not make all of the puzzle pieces fit, and sometimes he tried too hard. I guess you could call him crazy, but that does not mean he was entirely wrong … and he did correctly predict that the deep state was setting Osama bin Laden up as the patsy for 9/11. There is one thing we can be absolutely certain about: you can never trust a secret government with secret budgets. The intelligence community has become a fourth branch of government unto itself, with a secret veto over the rest through covert operations. JFK was on the right track when he tried to abolish the CIA and reverse the damage that was done to America by the National Security Act (which created the shadow government that wields so much power today.)
