Why I believe in the reality of the UFO phenomenon – – but it may not be what you think

by Norio Hayakawa, January 1, 2018:

I have answered the following questions more than a hundred times so far – – my answers are always the same:

IS THE UFO PHENOMENON REAL?
My answer:
The UFO phenomenon seems to be real.

ARE ALIEN ABDUCTIONS REAL?
My answer:
“It seems to me that alien abductions are absolutely real to the experiencers”.

ARE WE BEING VISITED BY ALIENS?
My answer:
“Are we talking about sentient, physical, extraterrestrial biological entities?
If that is the case, the UFO phenomenon does not seem to constitute conclusive evidence of ET visitations by physical, sentient, extraterrestrial biological entities in physical extraterrestrial spacecraft of any kind, so far.”

ARE WE THE ONLY SENTIENT, INTELLIGENT PHYSICAL BIOLOGICAL ENTITIES IN THIS ENTIRE COSMOS?
My answer:
We just do not know yet.  – – and, this is the best answer we can give for now.

Of course everybody, including myself, thinks it sounds ridiculous to believe that we are the only instance of physical, sentient, intelligent biological life anywhere.  I couldn’t agree more.

But for right now the answer is “We just do not know yet“.

But is “life” limited to just physical, sentient, intelligent biological existence in this cosmos?

Maybe there could be countless number of sentient, paraphysical entities of extradimensional origin in this huge cosmos – – that could include both the benevolent and the malevolent kinds.

The following is simply my personal conjecture which I had written elsewhere before:

“The UFO phenomenon appears to me as a temporary, paraphysical intrusion into our physical dimension by an unknown intelligence or unknown sentient entitities, paraphysically materializing themselves to a pre-selected observer  (or a group of observers)  and presenting to the observer as a physical extraterrestrial phenomenon and visitation.

The pre-selection also seems to include a particular location as well as a particular time.

The phenomenon seems to be able to materialize and de-materialize at will.  However, the phenomenon does not seem to be able to survive in our physical dimension except for a few seconds or a few minutes at a time.

Some researchers claim that the phenomenon seems to be able to temporarily affect our physical parameters  (such as radar, etc.).

Yet the phenomenon also seems to be incapable of being photographed with clarity, if at all.

And on many occasions, it seems to me that these “UFOs” only deceptively appear  (to the observer)  to be utilizing some type of a propulsion system as they seem to take off into the distant sky at an unimaginable rate of speed.

Finally, by  ‘phenomenon’  here,  I would like to include both the  ‘craft’  as well as the  ‘entities’  and their seemingly paraphysical capabilities.”

  1. That is a very fair response to the complexities of the common questions posed by the masses. A few questions I have on two most recent, widely exposed incidents are: Can a manifestation of a UFO be a non-physical, visible illusion of a malovolant spiritual origin (i.e., the Nimitz “tic-tac” object) and still be tracked on radar? Conversely, has humankind been able to develop this type of technology in secret and this is just another piece in an elaborate disinformation campaign sprung on an unwitting segment of the military for eventual dissemination to the public? (this scenario seems unlikely though).

If one of the children involved in the Zimbabwe UFO/alien encounter would have reached out to touch the grey being in their midst of just a few feet, would it have disappeared before contact? Were they physical? What compelled either party not to attempt to physically engage the other? Was it even possible for the children and the being to touch? Was an unseen force at work preventing this contact? (I personally think there is/was, but this is only conjecture based on spiritual beliefs).

Listening to so many callers on a recent, nationally-aired program about UFOs two nights ago who are taking the biblical approach for the explaination of UFOs/aliens, I ponder if biblical referencers will be seen as the new “crazies” of old, as many of the UFO believers of the 40’s and 50’s were viewed. Most of the religious based opinions seemed to be met with a respectful, but morsty dismissive response from the host and guest. It is almost as if that angle is not intriguing enough, or somehow less plausible than that of what many show guests would rather speculate as to the origin and nature of the phenomena, which of course has even less of a point of reference when you take the bible out of the equation of possibilities. Thank you Norio!

  2. Thanks so much, once again, David, for your very thought-provoking profound comment.

I added the following conjecture in the article:

“The phenomenon seems to be able to materialize and de-materialize at will.
However, the phenomenon does not seem to be able to survive in our physical dimension except for a few seconds or a few minutes at a time.
The phenomenon seems to be able to temporarily affect our physical parameters (such as radar, etc.).
Yet the phenomenon also seems to be incapable of being photographed with clarity.”

By “phenomenon” here, I would like to include both the “craft” as well as the “entities” and their paraphysical capabilities.

You brought up an interesting point as to what would happen if the boys actually attempted to touch the entities. I would like to think that yes, touching the entity (or, the perception that we are touching physically) initially could be possible, but since the entity does not seem to be able to remain in our physical realm for more than a short period of time (i.e., few seconds, or few minutes, the most), my conjecture is that it would be forced to disappear.

Can we develop technologies involving paraphysicality? I do not know, since I do not even fully comprehend paraphysicality, if there is such a thing, even though I use the term.
