This is why I love living here in New Mexico, U.S.A. – – the abundance of amazing clouds that almost look like “UFOs”.
The above photo was taken by Benji Espinoza during the incident that took place on February 22, 2016 over the skies in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
Hundreds of residents witnessed the humongous lenticular cloud, or better yet, a “shelf-cloud” which is an intimidating, horizon-eating roller often attached to thunderstorms (according to Jorge Torres of KOB-TV – Channel 4).
Many Las Vegas residents took photos that afternoon.

Also, on January 3, 2021, there was a mass “invasion” of “UFO clouds” (lenticular clouds) especially over Albuquerque and Rio Rancho areas.
