The hidden sand dunes area of Albuquerque, New Mexico

Everybody knows about the great sand dunes of White Sands in New Mexico.

Most people know that White Sands is located far south of Albuquerque  (about 240 miles south),  roughly a four-hour drive from the city.

But not many folks are familiar with the hidden sand dunes located right here in Albuquerque.

Unlike White Sands, Albuquerque’s sand dunes  (also known as West Mesa Sand Dunes)  are not white (gypsum sand).

Of course Albuquerque’s sand dunes area is incomparably much, much smaller but, nevertheless, quite impressive.

They are made of natural, wind-blown sand.

I have visited this amazing area at least 5 times in the last couple of years.   Whenever I went there I did not see a single soul anywhere there, nor have I seen any off-road bikers there.   Of course, it’s probably because I go there only on weekdays, not on weekends.   So, I recommend everyone to go there on weekdays.   A four-wheel drive vehicle is not needed to get there.   Just a regular car can do.

How to get there:

From Albuquerque, drive west on Central Ave., passing Unser Blvd.

Keep driving west on Central Ave. for several miles. 

Make a left at the sign that says Metropolitan Detention Center.   (Shelly Dr. SW)

Keep on driving towards the Metropolitan Detention Center.   This is a paved road.

When you get to the entrance of the Center, do not go into the Center, but take the gravel road on the left which is parallel to the Center.   This gravel road appears to be a public, county road, not a private road.

Then make a right at the next dirt road (Grant Rd.) and drive alongside the fence of the Center.  You will soon see the sand dunes.

Weather officer Irving Newton clarifies the Roswell incident of 1947 – – it had nothing to do with aliens

In 1994, Irving Newton told investigators:

“I remember Major Marcel chased me all around that room…..He kept saying things like ‘Look how tough that metal is….look at the strange markings on it’….While I was examining the debris, Marcel was picking up pieces of the radar target sticks and trying to convince me that some notations on the sticks were alien writings.  But I was adamant that it was a weather balloon with a RAWIN (radar) target.  I think he was embarrassed as crazy and he would like to do anything to make that turn into a flying saucer” – – from Mysteries, Myths, Mayhem and Money chapter of Gary Bates’ ALIEN INTRUSION.

 

Here is his statement, made on July 21, 1994:

I was asked to provide this statement, by Lt. Col. Joseph V. Rogan who advised me, he was assisting in an investigation at the behest of the Secretary of the Air Force, for the GAO, to look into facts concerning what has become to be known as “The Roswell Incident“.

As I recall it was July 1947, I was then a Warrant Officer with seven years service.  I was the only weather forecaster on duty in the Fort Worth base weather and flight service center.  The base weather covered only the base; the flight service center covered most of the southwest states.  I received a call from some one in General Ramey’s office who asked that I go to the General’s office.  I informed him that I was the only forecaster on duty and could not leave.  Several minutes later General Ramey Himself called and said “get your ass over here.  If you don’t have a car take the first one with a key”.

I was met at the General’s office by a Lt. Col. or Col. who told me that some one had found a flying saucer in New Mexico and they had it in the General’s Office.  And that a flight had been set up to send it to Wright Patterson AFB, OH., but the General suspicioned that it might be meteorological equipment or something of that nature and wanted it examined by qualified meteorological personnel.

The Col. and I walked into the General’s office where this supposed flying saucer was lying all over the floor.  As soon as I saw it, I giggled and asked if that was the flying saucer.  I was told it was.

Several people were in the room when I went in, among them, General Ramey, a couple of press people, a Major, I learned to be Major Marcel and some other folks.  Some introduced Major Marcel as the person who found this material.

I told them that this was a balloon and a RAWIN.  I believed this because I had seen many of these before.  They were normally launched by a special crew and followed by a ground radar unit.  They provided a higher altitude winds aloft.  We did not use them at Fort Worth.  However, I was familiar with them because we used them and their products on various projects in which I was involved.  These were used mostly on special projects and overseas.  The balloon was made out of a rubber type expandable material and when launched was about six to eight feet across.  When the balloons got to altitude they expanded to twenty feet or more.  The target was used for radar reflections and I believe each leg of the target was approximately 48 inches.  It resembled a child’s Jack (like a child’s ball and jacks set) with a metallic material between the legs.  The legs were made of material appearing to be like balsa wood kite sticks but much tougher.

While I was examining the debris, Major Marcel was picking up pieces of the target sticks and trying to convince me that some notations on the sticks were alien writings.  There were figures on the sticks lavender or pink in color, appeared to be weather faded markings with no rhyme or reason.  He did not convince me these were alien writings.

I was convinced at the time that this was a balloon with a RAWIN target and remain convinced.

I remember hearing the General tell someone to cancel the flight, the flight to Wright Patterson.

While in the office several pictures were taken of Major Marcel, General Ramey, myself and others.

I was dismissed and went to my office to resume my normal duties.

During the ensuing years I have been interviewed by many authors, I have been quoted and misquoted.  The facts remain as indicated above.  I was not influenced during the original interview, nor today, to provide anything but what I know to be true, that is, the material I saw in General Ramey’s office as the remains of a balloon and a RAWIN target.

American diplomats in Cuba, China and Russia may have been hit by high-power microwaves

A mystery ailment that has afflicted US embassy staff and CIA officers off and on over the last four years in Cuba, China, Russia and other countries appears to have been caused by high-power microwaves, according to a report released by the National Academies.

A committee of 19 experts in medicine and other fields concluded that directed, pulsed radiofrequency energy is the “most plausible mechanism” to explain the illness, dubbed “Havana syndrome”.

The report doesn’t clear up who targeted the embassies or why they were targeted.  But the technology behind the suspected weapons is well understood and dates back to the Cold War arms race between the U.S. and the Soviet Union.

What is the “Havana Syndrome”?

There have been unexplained brain injuries involving a dozen US officials who travelled to Cuba, China and Russia since 2016.

Their symptoms included headaches, nausea, bloody noses and mild brain injury.

Many reported hearing grating like noises, or sudden pressure and vibrations.

High-power microwave weapons are generally designed to disable electronic equipment.  But as the “Havana syndrome” reports show, these pulses of energy can harm people, as well.

Says Edl Schamiloglu of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque:

“As an electrical and computer engineer who designs and builds sources of high-power microwaves, I have spent decades studying the physics of these sources, including work with the US Department of Defense.

Directed energy microwave weapons convert energy from a power source — a wall plug in a lab or the engine on a military vehicle — into radiated electromagnetic energy and focus it on a target.  The directed high-power microwaves damage equipment, particularly electronics, without killing nearby people.

Two good examples are Boeing’s Counter-electronics High-powered Microwave Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP), which is a high-power microwave source mounted in a missile, and Tactical High-power Operational Responder (THOR), which was recently developed by Albuquerque, New Mexico’s Air Force Research Laboratory to knock out swarms of drones.”

These types of directed energy microwave devices came on the scene in the late 1960s in the US and the Soviet Union. They were enabled by the development of pulsed power in the 1960s.

Pulsed power generates short electrical pulses that have very high electrical power, meaning both high voltage — up to a few megavolts — and large electrical currents — tens of kiloamps.  That’s more voltage than the highest-voltage long-distance power transmission lines, and about the amount of current in a lightning bolt.

Plasma physicists at the time realised that if you could generate, for example, a 1-megavolt electron beam with 10-kiloamp current, the result would be a beam power of 10 billion watts, or gigawatts.  Converting 10 per cent of that beam power into microwaves using standard microwave tube technology that dates back to the 1940s generates 1 gigawatt of microwaves.

Schamiloglu continues:

“The development of this technology led to a subset of the US-Soviet arms race — a microwave power derby.  When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, I and other American scientists gained access to Russian pulsed power accelerators, like the SINUS-6 that is still working in my lab (in Albuquerque, New Mexico).

I had a fruitful decade of collaboration with my Russian colleagues, which swiftly ended following Vladimir Putin‘s rise to power.

Today, research in high-power microwaves continues in the US and Russia but has exploded in China.  I have visited labs in Russia since 1991 and labs in China since 2006, and the investment being made by China dwarfs activity in the US and Russia.  Dozens of countries now have active high-power microwave research programs.”

Microwaves generated by these high-power microwave weapons don’t generate noticeable amounts of heat, let alone cause people to explode like baked potatoes in microwave ovens.

High power is important in these weapons because generating very high instantaneous power yields very high instantaneous electric fields, which scale as the square root of the power.  It is these high electric fields that can disrupt electronics, which is why the Department of Defense is interested in these devices.

HOW IT AFFECTS PEOPLE:

The National Academies report links high-power microwaves to impacts on people through the Frey effect.

The human head acts as a receiving antenna for microwaves in the low gigahertz frequency range. Pulses of microwaves in these frequencies can cause people to hear sounds, which is one of the symptoms reported by the affected US personnel.

“Havana syndrome” sufferers have reported include headaches, nausea, hearing loss, lightheadedness and cognitive issues.

The report notes that electronic devices were not disrupted during the attacks, suggesting that the power levels needed for the Frey effect are lower than would be required for an attack on electronics. This would be consistent with a high-power microwave weapon located at some distance from the targets.

Power decreases dramatically with distance through the inverse square law, which means one of these devices could produce a power level at the target that would be too low to affect electronics but that could induce the Frey effect.

The Russians and the Chinese certainly possess the capabilities of fielding high-power microwave sources like the ones that appear to have been used in Cuba and China.

The truth of what actually happened to U.S. personnel in Cuba and China — and why — might remain a mystery, but the technology most likely involved comes from textbook physics, and the military powers of the world continue to develop and deploy it.

Why the U.S. government and the military will never disclose the true nature of the UFO phenomenon

I am in total agreement with Col. John Alexander that there has never been any intentional cover-up of the UFO phenomenon by the United States government.

The U.S. government has never directly, officially or publicly admitted the existence of UFOs.

It was only towards the end of 2019 that some officials in the Pentagon indirectly suggested that more research into what it aptly described as UAP  (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena – – not “UFOs”)  may be a worthwhile endeavor.

It seems to me that there are those in the elitist sector of the government and the military who espouse the belief  (the belief that I personally also espouse)  that the UFO phenomenon “appears to be a paraphysical intrusion into our physical dimension by an unknown intelligence or unknown sentient extradimensional entities, paraphysically materializing themselves and presenting to the observers as a physical extraterrestrial phenomenon and visitation.”

They seem to be convinced that these entities with their craft seem to be able to achieve movements that defy our current laws of physics, and can temporarily affect our physical parameters, such as their ability to appear on our radar systems.

These elitist officials also seem to be convinced that the phenomenon is able to “materialize and de-materialize at will” and is even capable of “transmogrifying” itself into any shape or form  (as in the words of the late John A. Keel).

They also seem to be aware that the phenomenon does not seem to be able to survive in our physical dimension except for a few seconds or a few minutes at a time.

This is why, as stated in the beginning, there has never been any intentional cover-up of the UFO phenomenon by the U.S. government, even though the phenomenon itself seems to exist.

The government itself  (including the military)  has always been perplexed by this enigmatic and deceptive phenomenon, being unable to come up with any conclusions, mainly for the reason that this phenomenon in essence seems to be “paranormal”  (or better yet, paraphysical)  in nature.

It is therefore quite understandable that the government is incapable and unwilling to deal with this phenomenon and rightfully refuses to explain things of this nature, bordering on “religious” beliefs.

The military, however, seems to have taken advantage of such assumptions  (made by some in the government and the military that UFOs are extraterrestrial)  and continues to develop various weapons systems as a cogent reason to emulate such technologies emanating from the reported phenomenon, taking advantage of its psychological implications.

The bottom line here is that even though the UFO phenomenon seems to exist, it has not proven itself to be absolute, tangible evidence that we have been visited by actual physical extraterrestrial biological entities in any actual physical spacecraft of any kind.  The term “UFOs” is misleading since we still do not know if they are really objects or if they are actually flying as we understand flying to be  (as through the use of a propulsion system),  as often mentioned by Dr.  Jacques Vallee.

Some in the top echelon of the government  (and the military)  seem to believe that the UFO phenomenon may even be “demonic” in origin, a “diabolical” contraption perpetrated by deceptive paraphysical entities playing tricks with the human mind.  Quite a number of government and military officials who espouse this theory seem to exist especially among those with conservative, Evangelical Christian persuasions.

(The word “demonic” is a highly controversial word,  often misinterpreted in so many ways.  The meaning of this word used by Jacques Vallee or John A. Keel may not necessarily be exactly the same as when used by so-called Fundamentalist Christians.)

By the way, a recent interview with Japer Hamill of Britain’s METRO revealed that:

“UFO investigations carried out by the Pentagon and British Ministry of Defence were hampered by the religious beliefs of senior staff, former employees have revealed.  Two men who worked on secret UFO programs on both sides of the Atlantic said their work received ‘pushback’ from high-ranking officials who feared fast-moving objects glimpsed in our skies were either ‘demonic’ or divine.

Luis Elizondo, who claimed to have headed up the US Defense Intelligence Agency’s secret Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), spoke out about his work in a New York Times article last year.  Footage of an encounter between an F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet and an oval-shaped object with no exhaust, wings or tail travelling at incredible speeds was later released to illustrate the sort of sightings investigated by the AATIP.

The project shut down in 2012 after allegedly amassing information on other aircraft which appeared to move extremely quickly without seeming to have any visible form of propulsion such as a jet engine – or hover in the air without techniques of generating ‘lift’ such as rotor blades.

This investigation was contracted out to BIGELOW AEROSPACE, whose founder (Robert Bigelow) once told CBS 60 Minutes he was ‘absolutely convinced’ that aliens are real and that our planet has been visited by UFOs.  Officially, this project was shut down so the cash could be ploughed into other projects.

But Elizondo who claimed to have been a former intelligence officer who ran AATIP, has told LAS VEGAS NOW that his study also received ‘pushback’ from The Pentagon because some top-ranking officials ‘opposed it on religious grounds’.

Nick Pope, a former UFO investigator for the Ministry of Defence, told us that he encountered the same sort of attitude when working in the UK.  “I was aware that Pentagon pushback on UFO research was in part due to the religious belief of some of those involved,” he said.  “It was an odd irony that UFO investigations were being hampered because some people’s belief in God meant that they either didn’t believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life or that they regarded UFOs and extraterrestrials as demonic.”

The fact that some people regard UFOs as demonic seems to have its roots in the biblical description of Satan as being  ‘the prince of the power of the air’  from Ephesians 2:2”:

Some officials also seem to bring up Revelation 12:4, which some say suggests that Eons ago, one third of all cosmic, sentient, paraphysical angelic entities were thrown out of their special domain by the Creator for participating in a cosmic-shaking revolt led by Lucifer who became Satan, and his followers “fallen angels”………..many biblical scholars seem to support this interpretation.

On the other hand, there are others in the government and the military who do not hold this kind of view.

Therein lie the division and the wide gap that exist within the government elitists.

This may be the reason why the government cannot and will not openly disclose the true nature of the UFO phenomenon.

The UFO phenomenon seems to “pre-select” its observers !!

The UFO phenomenon appears to me as a paraphysical intrusion into our physical dimension by an unknown intelligence or unknown sentient entitities, paraphysically materializing themselves to a “pre-selected” observer  (or a group of observers, whether small or large)  and presenting to the observer as a physical extraterrestrial phenomenon and visitation for reasons yet unknown.

The “pre-selection” also seems to include a particular location as well as a particular time.

The phenomenon seems to be able to materialize and de-materialize at will and even seems to be capable of “transmogrifying” itself into any shape or form  (as in the words of  John A. Keel).

However, the phenomenon does not seem to be able to survive in our physical dimension except for a few seconds or a few minutes at a time.

Some researchers claim that the phenomenon seems to be able to temporarily affect our physical parameters  (such as radar, etc.).

Yet the phenomenon also seems to be incapable of being photographed with clarity, if at all.  This also seems to be the case with other “anomalous” phenomena.

And on many occasions, it seems to me that these “UFOs” only deceptively appear  (to the observer)  to be utilizing some type of a propulsion system as they seem to take off into the distant sky at an unimaginable rate of speed.

In other cases, “UFOs” seem to simply hover or “float” (again, as if they’re utilizing some form of a propulsion system capable of “floating”) before taking off or even de-materializing.

Could this be a deception?

Finally, by ‘phenomenon’  here,  I would like to include both the ‘craft’ as well as the ‘entities’ and their seemingly paraphysical capabilities.  Again, this also seems to be the case with other “anomalous” phenomena.

By the way, here is another of my favorite quotes from Dr. Jacques Vallee, the world’s top-most authority on the UFO phenomenon in my opinion:

“Contact between human percipients and the UFO phenomenon always occurs under conditions controlled by the latter.  Its characteristic feature is a factor of absurdity that leads to a rejection of the story by the upper layers of the target society and an absorption at a deep unconscious level of the symbols conveyed by the encounter.”

I am the first to admit that all of the above is purely my personal speculation, but it’s the best that I could do, considering this sobering fact that:

Even though the UFO phenomenon seems to exist, it has not proven itself to be absolute, tangible evidence that we have been visited by actual physical extraterrestrial biological entities in any actual physical spacecraft of any kind.  The term “UFOs” is misleading since we still do not know if they are really objects or if they are actually flying as we understand flying to be  (as through the use of a propulsion system),  as often mentioned by Dr.  Jacques Vallee.

 

It is a well-known fact that John A. Keel and Jacques Vallee were two of the first big name researchers who had departed from the physical Extraterrestrial Hypothesis (ETH) of the origins of UFOs and the UFO phenomenon.

Although it is still considered to be a minority view in the field of Ufology, quite a number of researchers followed suit, including J. Allen Hynek, Arthur C. Clarke, Whitley Strieber, John Mack, Karla Turner, Guy Malone, Joseph G. Jordan, L.A. Marzulli and Nick Redfern.

Many of them seem to have gone from ETH to the “Fallen” and “Malevolent”

They seem to have concluded that UFOs are extra-dimensional and not from outer space.

I totally agree with them.

Since the late 1970s, I, too, have maintained  (and will continue to maintain)  my opinion that we have never been visited by physical ETs in their physical spacecraft.

In fact, science has yet to prove that UFOs represent any conclusive evidence whatsoever of physical ET visitations.

The reality, in my opinion, is that “they” are deceptive, manipulative and malevolent entities from another dimension, deceiving us by paraphysically materializing and “posing” as “ETs” from highly advanced civilizations from outer space.

This does not mean that “benevolent” ones do not exist.

In fact, it is my belief that the “benevolent” ones not only exist but they are in the majority, i.e., with the ratio of 2 to 1 against the “malevolent” ones.   (i.e., for every “malevolent” one, there are two “benevolent” ones).

Eons ago, one third of all cosmic, sentient, paraphysical angelic entities were thrown out of their special domain by the Creator for participating in a cosmic-shaking revolt led by Lucifer who became Satan, and his followers “fallen angels”  – – as suggested in Revelation 12:4 – – many biblical scholars seem to support this interpretation.

Perhaps the “benevolent” ones are doing good works without being seen by most of us.  Perhaps they are what are believed to be “guardian angels”.   But the ones that are deceiving people and causing “confusion” are certainly not the “benevolent” ones.

Tom Farmer, a researcher, stated:

“John A. Keel pointed out 50+ years ago that UFOs come in too many form factors, “crash” too often and spout too much nonsense to contactees to be nuts-and-bolts spacecraft crewed by explorers from afar.  They are a current-frame-of-reference manifestations of a trickster intelligence that has always been with us.”

New Mexico’s amazing land that time forgot !! – – the Ojito Wilderness, near Rio Rancho

New Mexico is truly a Land of Enchantment.

There are so many amazing wonderland of nature here.

And you don’t have to drive too far from the city to get to these “hidden spots”.

Just about 20 miles northwest from the City Hall of Rio Rancho is a natural wonderland called the Ojito Wilderness  (designated in 2005)  which includes the White Ridges Bike Trails area.  It’s located inside the BLM/ZIA Pueblo land and is tucked away in a rugged and scenic country southwest of the community of San Ysidro.

This region is known for its geological, cultural and paleontological resources as well as for its scenic qualities that include areas that almost look like “moonscape” areas:

The bike trail crosses a landscape of spectacular beauty and exceptional geology, meandering through the Pueblo of Zia and land managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

BLM has obtained the right-of-way from the Pueblo and the State to provide this biking experience.  Although the trails have been developed primarily for mountain biking, hikers are welcome on the entire trail system:

This entire region was once covered with water!

Fossil remains of rare dinosaurs, plants and trees for the Jurassic period are located in nearly areas.

Here are the directions to get to this area:

Go north on 528 and make a left on Hwy 550.

Just before you get to San Ysidro, make a left at Cabezon Road  (a dirt and gravel road)  after passing the Zia Pueblo.

Take the left fork where it says White Ridges Bike Trail or Ojito Wilderness.

Keep on going for about 3 miles or so.  Soon you will see a first gravel parking lot on the left side.

Do not go in there.   

Keep on driving for a half a mile or so and you will get to another gravel parking lot, this time  on the right side.

Park your vehicle and just start hiking upward on any biking/hiking trail and you will get there – – guaranteed.   If you are not too scared of heights, then the recommendation is that you take the biking/hiking trail by taking the main trail on the left side and eventually you will come to the spectacular view area  (the “Dragon’s Back” area as shown in the photo below):

It’s open 24/7 all year long.   However, there are no facilities.
