AN URGENT PLEA TO THE GOVERNOR OF NEVADA, WRITTEN BY RACHEL RESIDENT REGARDING AN EVENT THAT MAY OR MAY NOT TAKE PLACE ON SEPTEMBER 20, 2019 – – a post from Dreamland Resort:

(QUOTE)

Dear Governor Sisolak,

As a part-time resident of Rachel, Nevada, I am writing this letter to you to express my concerns regarding the “Storm Area 51” event next month.

Last week the Lincoln County Commissioner granted the permits for this event.

Rachel has zero infrastructure:  no police department, no fire, no hospital, no stores and no gas station.

It only has an Inn which is planning the event.

If someone needs serious medical attention the only way out is a casevac airlift to Las Vegas.

The sheriff is over 50 miles away in the small town of Alamo.

The sheriff already expressed he does not have the resources to handle this event.

I hear the security for this will be handled by the friends and family of the Inn who are the promoters.

Patrons are going to show up with empty gas tanks and nowhere near the amount of food and water needed.

In my opinion, the permits should have been rejected on these grounds.

The Inn will run out of food at some point and I feel this will turn into an ugly rioting mob.

I fear for the safety of my property and for the residents.

There will be no way to call for assistance as the limited cell service will be over loaded.

So with all this in mind, I humbly ask you to overturn the commissioners verdict and cancel the permits.

Thank you for your time, Governor.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Gregos

JEFFREY GREGOS IS  ASKING THE PUBLIC TO SUPPORT THEM BY WRITING TO THE GOVERNOR:

http://gov.nv.gov/ContacttheGovernor.aspx

His next letter will be one of protest to the Lincoln County Commissioner and one to the Sheriff.

He asks everyone to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office:

(775) 962-5151

Or, the Board of Commissioners:

Bevan Lister – District B
  (775) 962-1283 (cellphone) or (775) 962-5541

Mailing Address: P.O. Box 291, Pioche, NV 89043

P.S.

HERE IS AN UPDATE FROM JOERG ARNU OF DREAMLAND RESORT:

From Joerg Arnu, representing the residents of Rachel – – August 30, 2019:

“And here we are.

Only 3 weeks out and the only visible sign of preparations at the LITTLE A’LE’INN is some halfhearted grading in one corner of their lot.

No stage, no lights no fence, no preparations on the designated camp sites, no bands on the web site.

We, the locals, are preparing for the worst but we hope it will go the way many grand plans here in Rachel tend to go.

 Nowhere.

Except for the LITTLE A’LE’INN: They charge big bucks for nonrefundable camp sites, media tickets and vendor spots.

So they will come out ahead no matter what.

Think about it, why should they even bother.

They make all their money upfront.  I say this has all the signs to become Fyre Festival 2.0.

Well, the real reason for this disaster is some 20-year old punk, a greedy business in the community and an incompetent board of Lincoln County commissioners.

I did go as far as taking it up to the office of NV Governor Sisolak.

 Not surprisingly…. crickets.

I feel at this point my time is best spent building up defenses for my properties.

If anyone wants to run with it, more power to them.

Just to put things in perspective:

While the LITTLE A’LE’INN has already made upward of $100k selling public land for camp sites  (yes, I said PUBLIC LAND)  most of us residents will end up spending $1,000 and more each to upgrade our property defenses.

Not to mention our time and hard work.”

Some folks are saying not to go to Rachel, Nevada on September 20.
And that STORM AREA 51 IS A SCAM!!

EVENTS CANCELLED!! – – September 10, 2019.

The first American Revolution took place on August 10, 1680 – – the Pueblo Revolt

(CLICK ABOVE FOR ENLARGEMENT)

by Jonathan Smith, INDIAN COUNTRY TODAY:

Santa Fe, New Mexico

August 10, 2019:

(QUOTE)

Pueblo people in New Mexico and Arizona celebrate the day their ancestors successfully drove out Spanish colonizers, allowing Pueblo cultures to survive and thrive.

August 10th marked the 339th anniversary of the Pueblo Revolt.

Pueblo communities in New Mexico and Arizona commemorate the day with various activities.

The Tesuque Pueblo held an early morning run from the Pueblo to the plaza in Santa Fe.

“Well today we are celebrating the two runners Catua and Omptua, the two runners from Tesuque Pueblo,” said, Gil Vigil, chairman of the eight northern pueblo council.

“The significant part if you will, (is) the preservation of traditional culture.  If we didn’t revolt in 1680, we would not have the traditions and culture we have today.  The songs, the dances we practice today.

Living the life we were instructed to live, from the time we set foot upon this earth.  So for us Pueblo people 1680 is a date that will live in infamy as they say in history.  This event reminds us of who we are as Pueblo people.  So for those of you not aware of our culture, the Pueblo Revolt was the first revolution on this continent for independence from a foreign nation. T hat is the purpose of our event today.”

One hundred miles to the south, in the Pueblo of Jemez, Cliff Fragua considered how the Pueblo Revolt impacts his work and his life.  He has the distinction of creating an iconic sculpture of Po’pay.  It’s in Statuary Hall at the U.S. Capitol representing the state of New Mexico.  Fragua’s respect for the historical event is evident.

“I live it everyday, let’s put it that way, because I live here in Jemez Pueblo.  It’s a small community but we still retain our language, our culture, and our traditions.  I participate communally with the traditions when it comes to farming and ceremony and whatever traditions we follow.  I think it is really important that we continue those.  If the 1680 revolt had not occurred we wouldn’t be where we are at today and we wouldn’t have what we have today.

And I think it is highly important that we think about that almost on a daily basis.  We should be grateful and appreciative of such an occurrence to happen.  Although it got to that point, it had to happen for our survival as Pueblo people.”

Santa Fe Mayor Alan Webber read a proclamation for the day naming it, Saturday August 10th, 2019 Pueblo of Tesuque 1680 Pueblo Revolt Commemoration Day.

HOWEVER:

In 1688, Don Diego de Vargas was appointed Governor of New Mexico, though he did not arrive to assume his duties until February 22, 1691.   He was assigned with the task of reconquering and pacifying the New Mexico territory for Spain.  In July 1692, de Vargas and a small contingent of soldiers returned to Santa Fe.   They surrounded the city and called on the Pueblo people to surrender, promising clemency if they would swear allegiance to the King of Spain and return to the Christian faith.   After meeting with de Vargas, the Pueblo leaders agreed to surrender, and on September 12, 1692 de Vargas proclaimed a formal act of repossession.

De Vargas’ repossession of New Mexico is often called a bloodless reconquest, since the territory was initially retaken without any use of force.   Later, when de Vargas returned to Mexico in early 1693 to retrieve a group of settlers, they had to fight their way into Santa Fe.   Warriors from four of the pueblos sided with the colonists, but most opposed them.   When the capital had been taken, Don Diego ordered some 70 of the Pueblo men killed.   Women and children were distributed as servants to the colonists.   Similar bloody fighting occurred at many of the other pueblos before the governor felt that the native people had truly submitted to his and the king’s authority.   The end of widespread hostilities did not mean an end to Pueblo resentment over continued heavy-handed treatment by the colonists.   The plundering of Pueblo stocks of corn and other supplies, to sustain the struggling colony, was a periodic occurrence that inflamed animosity. By the end of the century the Spanish colonization was essentially solidified.

THE 1680 PUEBLO REVOLT WAS ABOUT NATIVE RESISTANCE

“To celebrate Pueblo resistance as just a fleeting memory is contrary to combating the settler state today, and we cannot begin to take on the various issues that crush and kill us in our communities unless we name the systems that uphold them:  settler colonialism, capitalism and imperialism!!” – – Jennifer Marley

Storming Area 51? – – forget it, it will never happen

(CLICK ABOVE FOR ENLARGEMENT)

Storming Area 51 on September 20, 2019?

Forget it.  It will never happen.

Area 51 is a vital U.S. Air Force-based research, development and test complex for various programs relevant to our national defense interests and supported by our hard-earned tax dollars.

It has nothing to do with “UFOs” or “Aliens”.

It’s pure American leading-edge military technologies at work.

It’s there to develop advanced weapons systems that will ultimately protect our nation from any hostile nation and other enemies, foreign as well as domestic.

And it’s extremely well-protected.

Anyone or any group of people who crosses the perimeter line will easily be caught and will be prosecuted.

“DEADLY FORCE” SIGNS ARE GONE SINCE 2016 BUT TRESPASSERS WILL STILL EASILY BE CAUGHT AND WILL BE CHARGED WITH ESPIONAGE

The four presently existing vintage HH-60U helicopters at the conglomerate facility will be more than sufficient to take care of any human intrusion:

The utmost importance of RCS test facilities in America

by Tyler Rogoway, THE DRIVE, November 9, 2017:

(QUOTE)

Most people would be blown away with how many elaborate installations dot the American landscape that are dedicated to the testing and development of new military technologies and weaponry.  These include everything from giant sound-stage like buildings used test missile seekers in action, to lakes where new submarine technologies are run through their paces.  They also include a number of outdoor radar cross section measurement facilities, commonly known inside the aerospace and defense world as “RCS test ranges.”

These ranges are often mistaken for clandestine airstrips or have conspiracy theories related to underground bases or even alien technology slapped on them.

But their true role is to carefully evaluate the radar signatures of aircraft designs from different aspects and using different radar bandwidths.

“Deadly force” signs are gone from Area 51 since 2016, but trespassers will still easily be caught and will be charged with espionage

(CLICK ABOVE FOR ENLARGEMENT – – courtesy of Joerg Arnu of Dreamland Resort)

Most folks seem to be unaware that in late 2015 the warning signs at Groom Lake Road “gate” have been replaced with new signs.

All of the old signs are gone.

There are identical new signs on either side of the road since 2016.

No more “Use of deadly force authorized” signs.

The new signs warn that it is illegal to fly drones in the area.

The line across the road is now clearly marked and the border a few hundred feet on either side of the road is marked with concertina wire.

A new mobile, remote-controlled FLIR camera tower, similar to the one that was added at the back gate a few years ago, now sits next to the road a short way inside the perimeter.  FLIR stands for “forward looking infrared”, meaning those cameras are designed to see even at night.

ABOVE, from Joerg Arnu of Dreamland Resort.

Yes, it is of utmost importance to know that anyone that trespasses will still easily be caught and will be charged with espionage, a serious federal crime that will affect your future.

What happens if I cross the Area 51 border?

“If you cross the border of the restricted area surrounding Area 51 FOR ANY REASON, the security guards, known as ’cammo dudes’, will detain you.  You will be pulled out of your vehicle, and held at gunpoint, face down on the ground.  The cammos will call the Lincoln County Sheriff.

When the sheriff shows up (usually about an hour later) he will arrest you and you may get to see the inside of the Lincoln County jail, while the sheriff investigates your story.

If he concludes that you accidentally crossed the line, you will be released after receiving a $650 citation for trespassing and a notice by the “Installation Commander” of an unspecified “Military Installation” that you are not welcome there.  In more severe cases the fine may be up to $5000 and possibly up to 6 months in jail.”
