An amazing UFO incident – – what took place at Ariel School in Ruwa, Zimbabwe in 1994

On September 16th, 1994 at the Ariel School in rural Zimbabwe, over sixty school children described seeing a disc-shaped craft land behind the school during morning break time.

Some of them reported seeing two beings approach the group.

There were multiple sightings of unusual aerial phenomena by thousands of Zimbabweans during this same time period.

Whether or not you believe there is life beyond our planet, this is an intriguing story that includes a BBC war reporter, a Pulitzer Prize-winning Harvard psychiatrist, hundreds of hours of archival footage with those present in 1994, and interviews with witnesses and others today.

It struggles with the aftermath caused by such an event, and strives to answer the question “What happens when you experience something so extraordinary that no one believes you?”

The children were interviewed immediately after the event by Tim Leach, BBC Bureau Chief for Zimbabwe, and then by several other news agencies.

Noted Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John Mack traveled to Zimbabwe to interview the children in depth due to the unusual nature of this event.

After exhaustive investigation, Dr. Mack concluded that the children were not making up the story.

Though this story was initially publicized worldwide, it quickly disappeared from the public eye but not from the hearts and minds of those who witnessed it.

For twenty years many of the witnesses have felt that their voices have not been heard.  Until now.

Filmmaker Randall Nickerson was approached by the John Mack Institute and asked if he would be interested in making a documentary about the Ariel School event.

What struck him about the original interviews was the sincerity and sense of truth demonstrated by the children about what they said they had witnessed.

They had seen something that affected them profoundly.

Nickerson expanded on the original project and traveled to the school several times, where he began to locate the now-adult children, teachers and other previously unknown witnesses.

He has now been to Zimbabwe three times, as well as around the US and UK collecting footage for the film.

A character-driven travelogue that follows a witness back to the scene of the event, the film explores the aftermath on the lives of those touched by the event.

This story caught the eyes and ears of a Pulitzer Prize-winning professor at Harvard University, Alan Dershowitz, attorney Daniel Sheehan and many others of note which led to a first-of-its-kind battle of worldviews in the ivory towers of academia.

As Nickerson began to interview the children, now in their late 20s and early 30s and some with families of their own, it became clear that this story was not over for them.

The event continues to have a deep impact on many of their lives.

Their courage, conviction and consistency, both then and now, makes it difficult to dismiss this account as a child’s imagination.

The good news, however, is that this topic is also featured by acclaimed documentary film producer James Fox in his new, upcoming made-for-the-theater movie which will be released this September, with the same title:

“THE PHENOMENON” – – an amazing documentary film coming to theaters nationwide soon

Pentagon and MoD officials feared UFOs were either “demonic” or sent by God, former investigators reveal

UFO investigations carried out by the Pentagon and British Ministry of Defence were hampered by the religious beliefs of senior staff, former employees have revealed.

Two men who worked on secret UFO programs on both sides of the Atlantic said their work received ‘pushback’ from high-ranking officials who feared fast-moving objects glimpsed in our skies were either ‘demonic’ or divine.

Luis Elizondo, who headed up the US Defense Intelligence Agency’s secret Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), spoke out about his work in a New York Times article last year.

Footage of an encounter between an F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet and an oval-shaped object with no exhaust, wings or tail travelling at incredible speeds was later released to illustrate the sort of sightings investigated by the AATIP.

The project shut down in 2012 after allegedly amassing information on other aircraft which appeared to move extremely quickly without seeming to have any visible form of propulsion such as a jet engine – or hover in the air without techniques of generating ‘lift’ such as rotor blades.

This investigation was contracted out to BIGELOW AEROSPACE, whose founder once told CBS 60 Minutes he was ‘absolutely convinced’ that aliens are real and that our planet has been visited by UFOs.  Officially, this project was shut down so the cash could be ploughed into other projects.

But Elizondo, a former intelligence officer who ran AATIP, has told LAS VEGAS NOW that his study also received ‘pushback’ from The Pentagon because some top-ranking officials ‘opposed it on religious grounds’.

Nick Pope, a former UFO investigator for the Ministry of Defence, told us that he encountered the same sort of attitude when working in the UK.

“I was aware that Pentagon pushback on UFO research was in part due to the religious belief of some of those involved,” he said. “It was an odd irony that UFO investigations were being hampered because some people’s belief in God meant that they either didn’t believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life or that they regarded UFOs and extraterrestrials as demonic.”

“The fact that some people regard UFOs as demonic seems to have its roots in the biblical description of Satan as being  ‘the prince of the power of the air’  from Ephesians 2:2”.

Luis Elizondo says that he came up against religious pushback from senior staff when he ran the Pentagon’s UFO program, and said “I saw some evidence of this at the MoD too”.

The US Department of Defense has not released any files relating to the project, which did not explicitly state that it related to aliens but instead focused on studying 12 areas of interest including lift, propulsion and stealth techniques, as well as ‘human interface’ and ‘human effects’ – which is believed to mean investigators spoke to people who had encountered UFOs.

“What this tells me is that the Defense Intelligence Agency looked at some UFO sightings as part of a wider intelligence assessment of the threat from next-generation aircraft, missiles and drones,” Pope added.

“Embedding this work in a weapons and aviation program is a logical move, but raises the question of whether the real concern was Martians or Russians.’

A spokesperson for the Department of Defense inside the Pentagon recently confirmed the AATIP project had shut down in 2012, although the New York Times reporters that exposed its work believe it is still operational in some capacity.

Replying to a letter sent by the website BLACK VAULT, she wrote:  “The Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program ended in 2012.  It was determined that there were other, higher priority issues that merited funding and it was in the best interest of the DoD to make a change”.

But, going back to this topic, it is a fact that some in the top echelon of the government  (and the military)  seem to believe that the UFO phenomenon may be “demonic” in origin, a “diabolical” contraption perpetrated by deceptive paraphysical entities playing tricks o the human mind. 

Yes, we must accept the fact that quite a number of government and military officials who espouse this theory seem to exist especially among those with conservative, Evangelical persuasions.

Former Area 51 and CIA employee implies Tic Tac UFO event was a classified test

In an article released by The WARZONE on November 25, 2019 two men who worked on classified, advanced aerospace programs back in the 60’s, weigh in on the recent Navy UFO  (Tic-Tac)  Encounters.

T.D. Barnes started working on black op projects back in 1954, when he worked on the “world’s first operational surface-to-air missile systems (SAM).”  In the early 60’s, he worked for the CIA as a Special Projects engineer at Area 51, working on the A-12 spy plane  (Project OXCART).

CIA developed the highly secret A-12 OXCART as the U-2 spy plane’s successor, intended to meet the nation’s need for a very fast, very high-flying reconnaissance aircraft that could avoid Soviet air defenses.  It became operational on November 12, 1965.  Not only did the A-12 prove its worth during its short operational life, but the overall OXCART project produced the second-longest-lasting aerial reconnaissance platform in US intelligence history:  the SR-71.

Barnes states that the CIA was worried that a new, highly advanced Soviet Union radar system would be able to detect the A-12 when it flew missions over their airspace.  The CIA then developed a program called PALLADIUM that caused false targets to pop up on the Soviet Union’s new radar system.

In the 2010 Mirage Men book, Mark Pilkington discussed how Dr. Leon Davidson thought some UFO radar appearances were man-made, created for covert counterintelligence purposes.  Pilkington discussed a CIA program that created radar “ghosts,” Project Palladium, and how it might have been used to also spoof UFOs.

In this article, Barnes states:

“Using an electronics-laden C-97 [EC-97G], we could make Soviet radars believe they were tracking any number of aerial objects,” mused Barnes.  “At one point, a Russian MiG-15 pilot even claimed he could see the target and had a lock on it.”

Concerning the Tic Tac UFO sightings by Navy Super Hornet fighter pilots he states:

“I don’t have the answers to what the Navy aviators saw, but in my mind, I’m thinking, we are doing it again.”

Now here is where it gets interesting.

It’s clear that, for years, the Navy has been developing and integrating multiple types of unmanned vehicles, shipboard and submarine systems, countermeasures and electronic warfare payloads, and communication technologies to give it the ability to project what is, in essence, phantom fleets of aircraft, ships, and submarines. These realistic-looking false signatures and decoys have the ability to appear seamlessly across disparate and geographically separated enemy sensor systems located both above and below the ocean’s surface:

Is the government testing a new drone-based search and reconnaissance technology?

According to two theories that seem to make the most sense, the drones  (that are appearing nightly in Colorado, Nebraska and elsewhere)  belong to a government contractor.

One theory says the drones are searching for a missing nuclear warhead from underground missile silos that are in the area.  That theory comes from a memo from the Russia’s Ministry of Defence, making it suspect, although it cites some potentially credible sources, as reported last in the following article:

But perhaps the most credible theory is that the U.S. government is testing new search/reconnaissance technology.  Under the theory, a target item is placed in a large search area during the day, and that evening, drones go out to find it.

That comes from Dan Carlson of Gurley, Nebraska, which is north of Sidney.  Carlson says he is a meteorologist, storm chaser, and former pilot with lapsed Department of Homeland Security clearance who’s seen some interesting stuff in the skies and on military bases during his career.

Carlson said he followed a drone the night of January 4 in Cheyenne County in western Nebraska.  He said its estimated altitude was 800 ft to 1,000 ft., and its speed varied from hovering to 60 mph.

“Karen and I successfully chased an unmanned aerial vehicle through rural Cheyenne County last evening…. Later I received pics from a photographer showing a V-shaped formation of other UAVs on a similar course several miles ahead of the one I pursued,” he said on a Facebook post.

Carlson suspects two types of drones are involved.  He said a formation of “scanning” UAVs might go out to “paint” an area, looking for the target.  Other UAVs might follow at lower altitude to check the findings of the scanning drones.

“Once the target has a positive ID, it would be retrieved by a ground team in the area,” and moved to a new location for the next test, he said.
